Welcome to Refugee Women Organization (REWO) Uganda.
Refugee women organization (REWO) Uganda is a non-profit and non partisan community based organization (CBO) registered in yumbe district in Uganda, and is working with women and youth to empower them become self reliant and sustainable, economically, and spiritually in bidibidi refugee settlement.
The organization was founded and registered by refugee women on 11th August 2020 under registration number: RMG/000650. Our main activities are peace building, trauma healing, skills development, and entrepreneurship skills among others.

Objectives

1- To ensure women’s rights is observed in the refugee settlement.
2- To empower women in social and economic development
3-To advocate for unity and peace in the settlement
4- To combat extreme poverty and strive to attain sustainable development in line with the sustainable development goals (SDGs) Promote girl child education and discourage early child pregnancy and marriage.
